Message: "God Works in the Waiting" | Scripture: Genesis
Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of following God, especially when we’ve prayed, obeyed, and still don’t see anything changing. Join us this Sunday as we continue The Story of Joseph with a message from Genesis 40 titled, “God Works in the Waiting.” Joseph remained in prison after doing what was right, and the man he helped forgot all about him. Yet God had not forgotten Joseph. Even while Joseph waited, God was still preparing him, using him, and moving His plan forward. Together, we’ll see how God calls us to:
• See the people He places around us
• Honor Him with what He has given us
• Trust His timing when others forget us
If you’re waiting for an answer, or direction, we are reminded that delay doesn’t mean God is absent. He is still working, even when we can't see it.

VBS 2026 RECAP
VBS on July 11 was an incredible day at Sardis. We had nearly 80 kids attend and learn that Jesus is the light of the world! Thank you to every single volunteer who helped make this possible. God is so good and we are beyond blessed and thankful for all He is doing here at Sardis. We hope you will join us tomorrow as we celebrate this incredible day.

We have age appropriate SUNDAY SCHOOL classes at 10 am. SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP is at 11:00 am, Our worship music is a mix of traditional and contemporary. CHILDREN, YOUTH, ADULT bible studies/activities on Wednesday evenings begin at 6:30 pm.
We have started exciting small-group bible studies on TUESDAY evenings. We call them D-GROUPS (Discipleship Groups). Call our church office or visit us for more info. Join us!
